Don Hallowell is a two-time 358 Dirt Modified champion, having won two championships at
Delaware International and Bridgeport Speedways. His racing team, H & H Racing,
has helped him continue to remain active in the modified stock car racing world.

Before stock car racing, Hallowell was a three-time class champion at Cecil
County Dragway, and at Atco Raceway. As a regular on the various
Drag Racing Circuits, Hallowell established a number of Drag Racing records.
Following drag racing, Hallowell went into Corvette Restoration, and after
five years of working with Corvettes, decided to move into the exciting field of
dirt modified stock car racing.

The number 5 on Hallowell's cars represents his son's age when his first car
was built; the next year, at age 6, son Donny asked if the number of the car
would be changed, but it remains 5 to this day. The small letter x in the
number is in memory of his father, who's racing symbol was the letter x.

Don was raised in a Christian family, and his upbringing with strong beliefs
in the Lord has helped him remain faithful to this day.

With the help of his family and racing team, Don came to the aid of two churches
after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Learn more...
